Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral Health Services Department Clinicians function as part of the WWRC Medical Rehabilitation Team to assist clients in achieving their optimal level of independence in community living. The Department is staffed by licensed clinical psychologists and licensed professional counselors.

Psychological Evaluations

Clients participating in either a WWRC residential rehabilitation program, WWRC outpatient rehabilitation program or a local rehabilitation provider program may be referred for psychological evaluations to determine:

  • feasibility for a service at the WWRC,
  • rehabilitation, post-secondary and/or worksite needs related to a cognitive, chemical, and/or emotional disorder; or
  • appropriate accommodations for work, post-secondary school, or standardized examinations such as the GED or SAT.

Intervention and Treatment

Following a psychological evaluation, the clinician may recommend a group or individual therapy program to enhance the outcomes for a client participating in a vocational rehabilitation at WWRC.
