Student Health Services (SHS), Supported Work Readiness Division

SHS serves WWRC residential clients by providing nursing care for minor episodic illnesses, minor injuries, first aid and referral for emergency situations. We encourage all students to have a community health provider for chronic and routine care and prescription updates.

  • Sick call
  • Health Assessments and return to campus evaluations
  • Preventative and restorative care instruction and counseling
  • Medication administration per orders including injections and vaccinations as provided
  • Emergency care and triage
  • Leads Campus Health Initiatives
  • Medication management support
  • Pre-admission health history reviews
  • Consultation with Health Department as needed for campus health
  • Infection Control surveillance
  • Coordinate with safety/risk management to meet OSHA requirements
  • Employee Health to support OSHA standards
